Memorial Park Mosaic Wall Project Salutes Tile Suppliers

Memorial Park Mosaic Wall Project Salutes Tile Suppliers

The Memorial Park Mosaic Wall Project is an extensive and intensive public arts project that will be taking place through the end of October. Throughout this summer, VSA TN intern, Alex Evans, will be providing weekly stories on the reason for doing this project, background on various key players in the project, and updates on the group that will be working on the project. The Teapot Diplomats were joined by a VSA TN Young Soloist (Drew Basham), A VSA Movement Connection member (Meghan Maynard), a VSA Dulcimer Choir member (Micah Elliott), a Tennessee School for the Blind/VSA Souper Bowl participant (Alyssa Aydelott), and a new friend from the Cerebral Palsy Association of Middle TN (Annie Lynne Kirshberg). Thanks to Cynthia Watkins for assisting and making the tea, to my intern Gabrielle Johnson for her help, to Poppy Steele for sign interpretation and the Fisk University for including us in this very special... read more
